  1. See the end of this message for details on invoking

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

While the program still works fine, I still got this message when I ran it. (The settings changer)

  2. That's my resolution too so it cannot be that you just have a huge screen resolution.

Well, I guess I will include a new setting in the next version for the window size.

If you didn't write your code in IndirectUI and used WinForms, you can set a property which allows the user to increase the size of a certain object, CodeLab uses an example of this, if your un-sure how to do it.

  3. is it still the aviimportsettings or the REGEDIT way?

It's still aviimportsettings for several technical reasons. If it is important I could consider bundling with the plugin a small program to make changing the settings easier.

Edit: As for the thumbnail size - do you mean the physical size? If so - what is your screen resolution?

I mean the physical size, yes. 1280 by 1024.

  4. Made an extra-special effort to get mine in on time this week. Here for your enjoyment: :D

A large "Thank you" to shadow/highlight recovery plugin. ;)

Heh, that's pretty darn sweet :)

  5. I've tried that also, sometimes it appears, and sometimes it says that the folder is empty. I got confused at a certain point, so I started over, extracted the files and then unblocked them. I then went to see if they installed, but they didn't.

Hmm.....Mabye re-install Paint.NET into a locatation apart from the C:// drive? (Well, as in "My Documents")

  6. Here are my idea's. My first would be like looking through X-Ray goggles like it havig green. Kinda like the XOR effect. The next one would be saving photoshop/GIMP brushes into paint.NET. like programming paint.NET to take different programs plugins, brushes etc. Dont know if that is possible though. Having a built in thing where you could make your own plugin like you can make a plugin in paint.NET. My third idea is to make a clothes type texture plugin. Im making a person project and i need to add realistic clothes. My last idea is to be able to make Animatons in paint.NEt without other programs. thanks for reading.

Please read the "Popular Feature Requests" thread, as I'm sure it has answered most of these questions, apart from the "X-Ray goggles" request, which can be easily done with some Curves, Color Balance and Conditional Hue/Saturation.

And there is already a plugin which allows you to create a Paint.NET plugin.....

Also, if you need to make realistic clothes, try having a go yourself.

Please read the rules aswell, and please put some more research into your questions, before asking questions. That's what search is for.

  7. Then was there any point in adding the typing stuff in?

Would you rather have to close the plugin, tweak the color, go back into the effects menu and run the plugin again, on those occasions when you don't know exactly what color you want to use?

    Actually....yes.

Because even still if you want to type in the hex code you'll have to close the plugin to find it, and then re-open it to put it in, unless you know the hex code colour chart.

  8. Please read the rules.

Also, this forum is not a place to ask to where to find pictures.

And finally, if your getting the T-Shirt made by a specialist, you could just find some pictures, and give them a basic idea of how it looks. Although a good T-Shirt template would be good.....

Which reminds me about my own T-Shirt design.....I hope we get to do that in Designs next year....[/off topic]

  9. One problem with line tracing. It takes FOREVER.

I've tried outling a sketch in PDN, and it turned out, well, bad.

I would do a paintbrush use of it, but then it isn't always clean, to be honest.

Anyways, i might try and clean some lineart I have done before up now manually. Try to fix it using effects is near impossible.

  10. is there a place where people could read the forum rules in another language? cus i just noticed that thread that was locked because he was speaking french, they told him to read the rules, well he cant cus if he could he would have posted in English.

*sorry just noticed a couple things today that made me curious lol*

What's the point in having the rules in other launguages when there is only one lanuguage which your allowed to speak in on this forum (apart from localization)?

  11. Hmmm... Russians laws strongly different than us or uk

i may write infomation about plugins and it's version and it's authors in installator window, and give link, where they are can be updated, what a problem now?

The fact that giving them a link to update it manually goes against the entire point of having a pack in the first place.

  12. I mean i can write copyright of the authors of plugins in installator

    Your using the wrong term.

    1. You can't write copyright for property you don't own.

    2. People don't care who contributed to help make this, they'll only thank you for providing a extremely shallow service.

    3. If you mean credit them, you still have to ask the author if they want you to re-distrubute their property.

Please, learn how to use the right words in the right place.

  13. Okay, I backed up my plugins, unistalled PDN, uninstalled the .NET framework, backtracked to SP2, reinstalled .NET, reinstalled PDN, and still no luck.

It didnt crash, but the loading is still terrible! I went back up to SP3, and at first it was going smooth, but now it is back to a terrible loading time. Any other suggestions?

Slow loading times are better than PDN not functioning anyday :)

Anyways, it could depend from your CPU and processor to the amount of plugin's you have. It dosen't really matter, unless it takes a minute to load.
