  1. Edit: (kind of) I pressed "submit", and your new post with the logo in it popped up. I think it's wonderful, but yes, too complex. Hmmm... I'm thinking a red background, same texture as your sig. Then, maybe... A tear drop shape, black, with a little reflection "splotch" near the bottom. Then, write Nascent Descent in the middle of it. Better? It's simple, so far...
  2. A sunset, and a mountain. And maybe, for extra taste, a guy on the top of the mountain looking into the distance. But that was generic! We need to know what kind of music you guys play, what mood you want for the band, etc. Can't compute, must have more data. - :Emboss: :Horiz: :Horiz: Hee hee...
  3. Yeah, that's really good, uH. Looking forward to the finished product!
  4. Thank you, thank you. Yeah, I think so, too. I did it in a bit of a hurry, it was getting late, and I haven't touched it since. I'll do it at some point. Edit: I like the new sig!
  5. I wouldn't really want to dive in to it... I've never posted there. :? I consider myself fine with out it. Posted this before in "Richard's avatar/sig request," the person I made it for never replied. Any comments?
  6. *Waits for Ash to come yell at us: "This is 'The Pictorium', not the homework discussion!* To get back on track (without the prodding of a moderator) I'll first finish my math homework (review for midterm), then upload an image to PhotoBucket, get the image code, and post it! (*Big breath*)
  7. Okay, cool! Googles, downloads, and--"How's your homework coming?" "Fine, mom!"
  8. What's Unfreez? ("Someone I should know about!?") Is it a PDN plugin?
  9. ageed a little too much glow Ah-hah! Twice in one day! W 8) t! Very nice work, Mix M@n.
  10. He's right about the glow but apart from that, I have to say it is a very good photo manipulation. I got something right! Yay!
  11. I like the second one, a lot. But on the first one, the after image has too much glow on it, IMO.
  12. Odd that it would do that. Any time, though. And welcome to the forum!
  13. Yeah, that was awesome, MadJik. Great job! Nice work for you, too, mama. I like it. It has an excess of white space under it, though, so I would consider cropping it.
  14. @Individualized-I think that your current one, the one with the white waves all over the name, isn't as nice as the second one, the darker one. The darker one could also have less transparent letters, so as to be easier on the reader's eyes. Does anyone have any comments for my avatar? (Yes, I know, it isn't my avatar yet, but I'll resize it as soon as I finish my accursed homework)
  15. It's very nice, stinks (in a good way) of "Individualized." 8) Edit: My new avatar, finished: (until D.A tells me a dozen things I could do to make it better)
  16. I hope not... It's nice, but not better than his current one, IMO.
  17. Nice work, Jake. Here's some of mine: This was made in Photoshop, (sorry) when I had my 30-day trial... This is my new avatar, a work in progress, but not much left to do. Any suggestions? The logo for my future website, ProjectGeek (Still just an idea). I made this last night, part of the spiral effect was made using Ash's tutorial/hint on how to make brushed metal. If anyone has any feedback, or I did something wrong, just tell me... I'm liable to have done something wrong.
  18. I really like it, MBK. It looks like it's missing something, though, IMO, because there's so much empty space... Speaking of space, you could make it into a planet, or something--Have the normal planets, then this one outlying, on the edge.
  19. @Vlad Vampire (I missed his reply, haven't checked for a bit )- Yes, your main signature picture is 150 pixels high, but the very small user bar underneath it is 19 pixels high (IIRC), so you're over. The sig is nice, though. @K.Digennaro-No, I did not draw the body, I Googled "Superman", or something like it, and it turned up.
  20. I just read this tutorial for the first time today, and it's actually really helpful. I never understood fully the different file types. Also, I usually flatten the image in Paint.NET, select all, and, after copying, undo all of that. Then I open Paint and save the image as a .BMP, so I can upload it to Photobucket, but now I guess I'll start saving them as .PNGs. My method, though long, makes it so I can later come back and edit the image, in the original .PDN format.
  21. Vlad Vampire, your sig pictures add up to 169 pixels high. The limit is 150. I'd recommend fixing it. My first oversized sig post! Some work: (attached) I also posted it in "Show Yourself!"
  22. Shadman, I love it! That's really great work!
