  1. If you want just that specific color, put the tolerance bar down to 0%.
  2. Hey! Stop teasing me like that! I depresses me
  3. I think he'll just rename it and put it back online. Maybe he'll be Mysterious Hardy
  4. @Rick: Looks like that guy got pwned! also@Rick: I was joking. Maybe I should add something like "**IN A SARCASTIC VOICE**" tags in between those type of posts. I used to do them in other forums, and I also used them a couple of times here.
  5. Cool! Edited by Rick: Really bad/dumb question removed
  6. Well, we may have two users getting win2k soon... Possibly even more coming from here
  7. ???? Illegal!!! All they did was copy all of the plugins, create slightly different codes, and change the name. I'm guessing that the free one is 2.7 and the professional is 3.0
  8. @Rick: Well at least make 5.0 available for 2k. At some point you should (when it goes retail?) The good news is that you didn't denounce any of the other suggestions. That is an idea..... I just remebered another idea of mine! Well this is more of a plugin, and is the type of thing you would ask Yahoo!, but here it goes. Create a plugin for the Konfabulator widget creation script. I'm looking at the Photoshop version, and I can tell that it would take a very long time to get it pdn compatible. Look.
  9. OOOOOOHHHHH! Font link please! (I'm really getting into fonts now)
  10. I have a couple of things in my head that I want to dump out into text (I forgot some of them already). Selection Tools: I have said several times that I would like to see a magnetic lasso, but I know that that isn't going to happen any time soon, so here are a few easy ones: Polygon Selection tool- make a nice little straight line to each point until you hit something like enter or the middle-click (or of course, click on the first point). Viola! A nice and straight selection without the pain of the lasso or the magic wand! Curve selection tool- I thought of this while using PS. They never had a curve/vector-like selection tool in their assortment of lassos. Possibly integrate it with the Polygon Select? Brush Select- I know that you can do that by making another layer and scribbling in what you want, but it isn't the same as an actual selection tool. Just a quick thought. Longer code for Magic Wand-More [potentially] great features that PS doesn't have yet: a. Make it more of a conditional-type magic wand- Have a pull-down menu that shows different modes of selection: Normal, RGB, Opacity, and B&W. Make it so that it "magically" selects only that type of color/object. I can't explain it any further, but I think you know what I mean. Possibly a check-off menu so you can use two modes a once? b. "Auto-select from pallet" option- I know it is possible to select with shift+click, but if you want something that doesn't exist, your just left to rot with making it in a small corner with the pencil. c. I forgot already In Layers Window: Layer groups- Self-explanatory. I always wanted it. Drag and drop layer ordering- Also self-explanatory. Always wanted that too. Last Call!!!1!!! Every two beta releases, make PDN available for win2k- I don't have win2k (yet), but I think it would be nice to at least keep it more up-to-date. I can't find it, but there was a topic where someone posted the code for brush types. I thought of a solution for Rick's response that you would need to re-code all of this stuff. If it is possible, could you make a new file type for a newer, more complex file? MS Office '07 has a new file extention (or is it just for Mac?). .docx/.dox I know a lot of this is already possible with other tools, but it isn't as fast or professional as an actual tool. Why else do we create plugins? Think about it and comment!
  11. [To kill my last post]Then try ImageShack. I guess that is its purpose (to be used as a backup for photobucket).
  12. How long would 17MB take? It took me about 10 minutes on a 250k/s connection. I think you download at 9k/s on a 28k/s connection, so it would take about 35 minutes for you (unless your using the internet at the time. it would be about 45 minutes in that case.) You should get a DSL connection. This is the most affordable one (in the long run): http://www.bellsouth.com/consumer/inetsrvcs/index.html All of those are month-to-month rates. I think Yahoo! offers 400kb/sec connection for $14 a month, but that's only for the first six months.
  13. The thumbnail looks good for a badge, but you can't see the black on blue 'A'No comment on the full-sized one (except for "get a photobucket account like me").
  14. Get a free vector editor like InkScape. I have it. It works good for vectors (if you want to make a few lines and shapes), but mine crashes if I go to another window while saving. But there may be a new version out that I don't know about (I haven't opened it in months).
  15. Cool, you should go to the show then lol That seems to be a bit of distance... Yup. Thx. I'm not really impresse with myself, though. I just need to find a way to smooth the curving out (the mini-screenshot was at size 26: the best it can look)
  16. @SnekaCM: I like the second one two. You should reduce the amount of pictures in you sig. Maybe to a reasonable number like one. Also crop the first picture in your signature.
  17. What he wants is very simple: He wants the selection shift to be in the top right corner tool of his ellipse so he can right click to the free move. Does that clear things up? EDIT: I just realized that he already posted.
  18. @Hellfire010: I like the first one. It looks more like fire (lesser quality on the polar inversion). Now I just got done with the Google Earth screenshot and I'm working on my pdn clock again. @jake2k: Cool! I hope you have a good printer for that! **Coincidence** I know where Tarpon Springs is! edit: I just finished creating a new font (also my first)!!!! rAnDoMiZaTiOn. I didn't know what I was going to make a first, so I got that weird title for it. It is a clone of a very famous font called "Mata". Not famous you say? It was cool looking enough to have been used in the Spider-Man 1/2/3 logo and the Playstation 3 logo. This font is "still in Alpha", and isn't complete. I need to finish of all of the numbers, some symbols (like the @ sign and the brackets). And since the lower-case letters and upper-case are the same, I only created the upper-case (for the moment). Like I said, it is still in Alpha, so the text is a little pixelated. http://www.uploading.com/files/250I9WKK ... e.ttf.html
  19. I'm now working on two projects. 1. A Google Earth screenshot of the Himalayas (trying to take the names out). 2. It may be a sig, but it may not. **HINT** PS3/Spider Man
  20. Yes. Edited by Rick: Removed superfluous and annoying whitespace. Oh! You want me to say how? http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=3059 Nobody ever reads my tuts :-(
