  1. Such a list would be most helpful. Excellent suggestion, and thank you for thinking of it. I usually lurk in this forum at least 3 or more times a week. I will definitely be looking out for it.
  2. I'm sorry for taking so long to reply. I was away. There must have been a conflict...at least on my computer between the two. After I uninstalled PSPP; Paint.Net ran perfectly! Thanks again for producing such an exceptional product.
  3. Thank you Rick Brewster. I have not uninstalled it yet. I was hoping that I did not have to. I really do use Paint.Net for almost all of my created custom content for games. I've only used Paint Shop Pro for cleaning up some of the edges around the characters and outfits. I'll uninstall it today and see what happens. This really is a testament to Paint.Net and it's quality. I paid $100 for that other program and have barely used it. Thank you also for that information willgoss. This is useful to know. I was unaware of it's Organizer and if or when I reinstall Paint Shop Pro X2, I'll keep that in mind.
  4. I tried searching for the answer, but could not find one. I'm having a problem. I create custom content for a game. I've always used Paint.Net. I bought a new computer 3 weeks ago that has Vista OS. I installed Paint Shop Pro X2 and then installed Paint.Net. Now whenever I open a picture for editing I have to tell it to use Paint.Net. It runs painfully slow. This is a Core 2 Duo Quad Core with 4 GB RAM and it should not take Paint.Net 10 minutes to load if I have my game running. I have to switch back and forth to test the CC in game. I did this all the time on my old XP computer before it and Paint.Net died on it. I'm fairly desperate to get back to working on these. Another thing that I noticed was Paint Shop Pro has staked it's claim by adding a little logo on all of my pictures. I do not want this. I love and prefer to use Paint.Net because of it was previously faster loading and much simpler to work with. All other programs open immediately; which is why I thought of a possible conflict between the two programs. Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my question.
  5. I'm having the exact same problem. All of a sudden my Paint.net stopped working. Nothing had been added or changed on this computer. I also uninstalled and reinstalled NET Framework 2.0 three times. I then downloaded the Microsoft clean up utility to completely get rid of Framework 2.0. Downloaded a fresh 2.0 it installed just fine. I downloaded Paint.net 3.22 again. The Paint.net 3.22 still will not install. I receive this message: "Paint.NET Setup Front-End has encountered a problem and needs to close." I love Paint.net and am quite sad about not being able to use it any longer. My OS is XP. I truly hope a resolution can be found for this problem.
  6. I have a question, since this is an older plugin and there is a gradient in v3.10, should I still install this one? I don't have the square gradient and it looks awesome. I can think of several uses for it. Also once installed will it overwrite the one already in v3.10? Thanks.
  7. Thank You both so much. Now I will happily install 2.0
  8. I just wanted to know if I have to uninstall .NET Framework 1.1 before I install .NET Framework 2.0 x86? I downloaded Paint.Net 2 days ago but it would not open because error messg. said I needed .NET 2.0. So I now have .NET 2.0 but am waiting to install it until I know what it will affect. I have other programs using the .NET 1.1 and don't want anything to interfere with it. Such as SimPe and others. Thanks
