I'm going through a practice phase of drawing Super Jesus extreme and experimenting with poses and stuff so heres another one. I found satan to be suprizingly hard to draw and in the end I gave him a body structure like SJE's although i did go through a few drawings to decide. I often find the simplest of drawings look the coolest. Also drawing everyone wearing Y-fronts lets me skip round some awquard drawing moments. Incase you were wondering. -
When you go to save an image that contains layers (and hence is default to save as a pdn file) and in the text box you write something like "image.png" (i.e manually typing out the file extension you want) it kind of messes up the file.

http://aatwo.deviantart.com/ Here you go. :? I really don't like deviant art though. it seems a lot of hassel. A lot of the stuff I have drawn did not go in there. There are 62 images in my personal pictorium but I realised that I only like 11 of them. I've changed a lot since I drew that three legged dog. -

and also my signiture image. The angel in the middle was an accidental product of the polar inversion that I noticed while doing a completely different image. -
Opps sorry I don't always get round to reading all of the posts.

It's hard to explain so here is a link to a video of the bug I found (at least I don't think this is intended behaviour). The video has quite large dimensions so you might need to view it in full screen mode. http://www.aatwo.com/grad_bug_1.php Basically when you use alpha in a gradient and then draw using the right mouse button, the gradient kind of inverts when you finish using the gradient tool or if you touch the nubs. note: I have tried this and it only does this when you use the right mouse button (irregardless to which color is set to alpha).

Paint.NET v3.0 Alpha 2 is now available

Boy are you right about that. -
Its great how you can move the start and end nubs around. Just out of interest, is it going to support more than 2 colors in the same gradient?

It's a very clear image. You must have a very dull monitor if you didnt notice it. -

No it does not. So I take it this is just me. Should I disable that doctor watson thing?

Paint.NET v3.0 Alpha 1 is now available
aatwo replied to Rick Brewster's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
thats great if you know how to do it but I think drag and drop is more intuative, especially for new users -
Not sure if I have the lastest build since younever mentioned a build number in the alpha 1 post so I assume tere is only one build of alpha 1. Well Earlier I opened an image using the windows picture and fax viewer and I clicked the edit button. Windows explorer then crashed and I got this message after clicking "end now". I havent got a clue what the hell Doctor Watsons postmortem debugger is... I have tried different file types in different folders and I have and tried restarting my pc. But now it crashes every time I click that little edit button. i can still open files in the normal other ways btw. I tried doing it while PDN was open but it still crashed. At this point I did see a little error report message box that appeared to be sending a message through PDN concerning the crash. So heads up for that. ...

I prefer the coloured version that Wardecke did. Yours is too bold I think. Also it looks kinda strange how you made his hair red -
BoltBait & Illnab1024 Gradient Plugin (UPDATED!) v3.0

Well yes I guess I would but I think it would be better to have a seperate rainbow wheel embedded into the gradient plugins dialogue. -
BoltBait & Illnab1024 Gradient Plugin (UPDATED!) v3.0
aatwo replied to Illnab1024's topic in Plugins - Publishing ONLY!
I very much agree with that. Does this plugin have to utilise the primary and secondary colours? When trying to make a background with a gradient tie in with the foreground it takes a few attempts to get the colours right which can be kind of annoying when you have to close the dialogue box, select different pri/sec colors and then re-open it. Is the current pallet script(s) dynamic enough to allow it to be used in situations other than in the 'colors' menu? If it is you could use it let users define the colors inside the dialouge and you could probably also use it to allow for the use of more than two colors in the gradient (excluding HSV). I also think that some way to determine the ratio of the gradients colours would be another worthy addition (and perhaps also some way to make the gradient change-over more abrupt or more drawn out). I.e. Great plugin by the way -

Hah I knew this would be the first thing requested Smile This may or may not make it in for v3.0, it is not a high priority at this point especially because of some other decisions that must be made regarding the usage of these thumbnails. I'm not sure if this ties in with what I have quoted, but it might be useful to have the ability to select some canvas pixels and then drag them into the MDI section where it would open what you dragged into a new image. -

I redrew a lot of Jesus and the guitar now looks like a guitar. But thats it. I'm tired of that drawing, so no Bolbait. No more cowbell for you. -
