No, I don't see that.
If you need to download my plugin pack, you can get it here: https://forums.getpaint.net/BoltBaitPluginPack

FaceBook wil create a link when entering Paint.NET which will lead to https://paint.net (which is currently parked... and super expensive)
When on FaceBook, I generally post GetPaint.NET when describing our favorite computer painting program.

Hi there! Thank you all for CodeLab being an awesome "plugin". However, I couldn't find a way to use default/non-integrated adjustments and non-integrated effets. Is there any?
What, EXACTLY, are you trying to use?

That sounds strange. What's the warning and context?

how do I outline the inside of an object instead of the outside?
First, select the object you wish to outline, then:

Yes, I have one in my plug-in pack.
It is called Effects > Selection > outline selection

Probably System.Drawing, which generally should not be used in GPU or Bitmap effects.
Yes, @toe_head2001 already checked in a fix for that issue. We just needed to specify the names because we removed System.Drawing from our using list for GPU effects.

Isn't the property collection, and thus the layer control, rebuilt during OnCreatePropertyCollection() ?
Yes, but that's only called once, the first time the effect is run... since there is no token. If the token exists, it is populated from there and there is no chance to rebuild that list of layers.
I just don't think drop-down list boxes in IndirectUI were designed for data that could change, like a list of layers or a list of fonts. We may be pushing the limits of the original design here.

In my week of playing with CodeLab I've found the following issues
Thanks for the bug reports. I will address these in the next release of CodeLab.

I believe this is a bug for @Rick Brewster in Paint.NET.
The issue here is the token. If the number of layers changes, there is no way to refresh the token information from the current document. The contents of the drop-down list in the plugin UI always comes from the token.
If the number of (or names of) layers has changed, we need a way to keep that drop-down list up-to-date.

I won't be adding this to Text Fun Factory. It's a little too specialized.
However, if you have my plugin pack installed, you can easily do this using Effects > Selection > Outline Selection:
Select your text, use the plugin starting with the outmost color (orange) with a width of 20, click OK.
Run the effect again and change the color to blue with a width of 15. Repeat with red 10 and yellow 5.

Look at the second screenshot. The location of script lab is shown at the top of the error message.

In Paint.NET, press F1 to bring up the help file.

Provide real docking for color and layer pallette.
You can move those windows outside of the main Paint.NET window and they'll remember their location the next time you run PdN.

What kind of key combinations are you looking for?
Some already exist, like pressing X to swap the primary and secondary color.

Looks like you installed the Store version. So, you don't need to know where the files are located.

You install plugins in a different place for the Store version. Read this page (near the bottom):

@cmdgames2007 this thread is 16 years old. I'm sure those involved have either solved their problem or moved on by now.
Please don't respond to really old posts.
In fact, I recommend you read the forum rules: READ FIRST: The Rules (yes, you! read this!) (2013-12-21) - Forum Rules - paint.net Forum (getpaint.net)

compared with your outline i can't get the same result when applying a gradient with the same values
i thought i could delete outline an text plus but at the end of the day no
This plugin is using a completely different method of text rendering than Creative Text Pro, so you'll probably want to keep that one around. As for my Outline/Gradient text plugin... this one is similar, but there are some differences. I didn't realize that I'd changed the order of rendering and I'll probably change Text Fun Factory to be more similar to that. Bottom line, it processes a letter at a time, so there will be differences. Look for an update to this plugin in a day or so which will make the outlines slightly thinner and the 3D effect to be more pronounced. This should make this plugin a full replacement for Outline/Gradient text.Luckily, you can still use all of them—you don’t have to choose.

When installed, it shows up in the Effects > Text Formations > Text Fun Factory menu.
This is now included in my plugin pack, you can download it there. Installer included.
Note: This effect is GPU accelerated, over 1,770 lines of code, and requires Paint.NET v5.0.12+. The least you can do is give this post an "up vote".
Here are some samples of what this plugin can produce in a matter of seconds:

Select a fill style:
There are 49 built-in seamless textures you can use to fill your lettering, for example:

Using the clipboard, you can use any image you want. These images can be scaled (zoomed), rotated to any angle, and color corrected.
Solid fills can take colors from your current or the default palette for each letter:

You can choose many shadow options, including color and direction:

Also, you can mix them all together!
One last thing: You can swap the layering overlap direction so that later letters are on top of instead of behind the previous letter:

@Rick Brewster will you be able to select your printer's color profile so you can see an approximation of what your colors will look like when printed?
My color laser printer will probably look pretty good, but what about my kid's inkjet printer? I image it will look pretty washed out.
