Hello,

as you may guess I'm a newbie!

I really like this picture and I would like to be able to reproduce something similar to this! I have a general idea to work with different opacities and layers but actually I'm not satisfied with my own repro and I want to see a "pro" do it! Thanks a bunch

See rule #23, please. We can point you in the right direction, but we will not do it for you.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

That would have been too much to ask for, you doing my work!

Is it the right direction overlayered transperancy?

I tried to find a tutorial that might fit, but unfortunately I didn't find anything suitable!
