zashone
Hi I just downloaded and compiled the debug source code of paint.net. Everything works well after removing some checks from startup.cs. I would like to see the forms in the designer but unfortunately if i double click on a form (or dialog) i have an error message in visual studio 2008 pro. To prevent possible data loss before loading the designer, the following errors must be resolved: 1 Error Ignore and Continue Why am I seeing this page? Root element is missing. Instances of this error (1) 1. Hide Call Stack at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ThrowWithoutLineInfo(String res) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent() at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Read() at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Read() at System.Resources.ResXResourceReader.ParseXml(XmlTextReader reader) Help with this error Could not find an associated help topic for this error. Rick Brewster
I do not use the forms designer to write the forms. They do not work in the forms designer if you try to load them there. This is not a bug. pyrochild
You can make most of them work with some fancy copy/pasting, but it's really more trouble than it's worth.
