Paint.NET is not a word processor, not does it pretend to be. If you want word processing functions such as Align Fit, why not use a word processor. Go to Word or OpenOffice.org, do what you want, and take a screenshot. (TheVoid: You are talking about align center; the question is about align fit, where the text is stretched to fit across a given distance.)
