UFWHOA
I've been using this program for a few weeks now and I'm wondering if there is a way how I can make a custom gradient of my design and use it to "fade" or adjust the transparency of a photo. I know how to make a gradient design to darken or lighten an image, and I know that the gradient tool can be used to "fade" a picture. I feel the gradient tool is limited in terms of designs and shapes, I'm looking for a method that'll provide the flexibility of a feature I'd love to use often. Am I clear enough? Can anybody help me? Feel free to criticize me harshly anytime you want, I think it's funny when you guys do. haha Thanks. Rubrica
One the gradient tool you should see a bit up the top of the screen like this: :AllColorChannels: Well, click that to change it to :AlphaChannel: and draw your gradient. Bob
You could use the Alpha Mask Plugin viewtopic.php?t=2178 and Dan's tutorial associated to it http://cmdsketchpad.com/tutorial.php?tutid=3 Feel free to criticize me harshly anytime you want, I think it's funny when you guys do. haha Thanks. You're a really stupid and annoying person and I wish I were sleeping instead of answering to you. Furthermore, I think you don't look good and that I'm smarter than you. Hope it suits your needs. Rubrica
Did you mean that nastily or as a joke? :?
david.atwell
As a joke, I'm sure. I've never seen Bob talk that way and mean it. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

UFWHOA
ahh the alpha mask plugin will do the job nicely, a little time-consuming to get to what I want but works very nicely regardless. Thank you. Maybe in the future there'll be some kind of "gradient design" tool or something. Thanks.
