Crazy Man Dan
I actually started working on this one the other day... Well, no time like the present. I'll get on it right now. Crazy Man Dan
Yep, the drop-shadow tutorial is up. Whenever I get a new tutorial, I make a new topic about it and Rick usually has it 'stickied' by the next day. I make a new topic each time so that if anyone has a question about a specific tutorial, there will already be a topic devoted to that tutorial in which they can ask their questions. Supernatural
The funny thing is, a "Drop Shadow" effect is so simple, that in Vista we'll get it by default on every window: http://www.winsupersite.com/images/showcase/vista5270_087.jpg Why we don't have this feature in Paint.Net? It is (probably) the most frequently used effect in the world. Please, add it!
Rick Brewster
Please do not confuse "simple to look at" with "simple to design and implement a simple to use interface for." Alph Tech / STUART
If Effects have access to the standard toolset, this would seem to be really easy to program.
Rick Brewster
Effects have very limited access to the rest of the application, by design.
