The funny thing is, a "Drop Shadow" effect is so simple, that in Vista we'll get it by default on every window: http://www.winsupersite.com/images/showcase/vista5270_087.jpg Why we don't have this feature in Paint.Net? It is (probably) the most frequently used effect in the world. Please, add it!

A navigator (a la photoshop) will be very useful in paint.Net for browsing and editing big images. Frans Bouma wrote some fast net 2.0 code to do it: http://weblogs.asp.net/fbouma/archive/2 ... 33976.aspx Rotating and scaling layers will be good too!
