I just need some constructive critcism on the background that I made and I want to put it in the right place. Do I plug it in here?

david.atwell
Well excuse me! I did read the rules! I was asking a simple question. No need to be snotty! This is one of about thirty threads a day by someone who hasn't read the rules, or hasn't read them well enough. It's obvious you didn't, or you'd have known. He wasn't being snotty, he was losing patience. And the rest of us are pretty close, almost all the time, because so few people read the rules. But once they do, we're happy to have you. Read the rules and follow them, please. Thank you. The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
barkbark00
Doesn't seem snotty to me. He is just stating fact. Reading the rules would have answered your question, so he just assumed that you did not read them. From Rules "17) Show off your work in the Pictorium. Don't create a new thread just to show off your artwork (this includes avatars and signatures). The place to show off is called The Pictorium... http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1072 " Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
fhem45
I asked in my question where to post the work I had done and I got the answer that told me to read the rules. I read the rules and clearly I forgot that part. I did not post anything I asked where to post it. I apologize and I will print out the rules and tape them to the wall. barkbark00
MiguelPereira was helpful enough to post a link to the Pictorium in his "rude" response to your question. I really don't see why you are complaining. Take responsibility for your own intelligence. -Rick Brewster
Crazy Man Dan
I apologize and I will print out the rules and tape them to the wall. Well, if you think that will help. Assuming that one never read the rules is a far more common response than assuming one read the all the rules but forgot one of them, so Miguel's admonition was with the best of intent. The response you received was not rude, merely direct - it fully answered your question using a minimal amount of strenuous typing effort on Miguel's part. With questions that were already answered before they were asked, that's perfectly understandable. Anyway, since the question has been answered, and since we like to look appealing like roses and fine wine, I'm'a stop the bickering. K? K.
