BuzzKill
It would be nice if Import From File... would add the imported file above the selected layer in the layers window. Just like the newly implemented action for Add New Layer. Quote - DO NOT contact me asking for the .pdn of my avatar or the PDN logo. Thank you. Have a nice day. Myrddin
That would be very helpful and maintain consistency with anything layer-related, like when modifying the fit-and-finish of the layers window to match the MDI tabs - consistent aesthetics. Good idea, BuzzKill. Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery
Aakanaar
I'm confused. Isn't Import From File an option in the Layers menu?

Aakanaar
ah.. ok.. sorry.. i did misread.. and I had to go to paint to see exactly how import worked, as well as Add New Layer. On mine, they both add the layers to the top of the layer pile, meaning that If i need them moved down i'll have to use the  button to move them into place. It would be interesting if it inserted the new layer just above the current layer as the Duplicate layer button does.
drakaan
That's exactly how adding new layers works in v3.10 (which has been released for a day or two now). Open Paint.NET, click "help -> Check for Updates" and feel the love.

BuzzKill
Also, I would like to see the Expand/Keep Canvas Size dialog associated with this function as well.
