Mulle Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 I installed Paint.NET about a week ago and I didn't like it. I tried to uninstall it, but somehow it refuses get out of my computer. I’ve searched my computer all around and cleaned the registry but still it's in the "Add or remove programs" Translation: A fatal error occurred during installation Then I tried to reinstall but that didn't work neither, it says I have to uninstall the current one...any solution gang? HITMAN-X- Posted August 21, 2007 Share Posted August 21, 2007 You have uninstall .NET Frameworks and Paint.NET uses it for the uninstaller as well. How to Fix: Install .NET Frameworks and then uninstall Paint.NET. Once Paint.NET is uninstall you may uninstall .NET Frameworks (Don't know why you would as most programs use .NET) You would have found your answer if you read the 1st topic on this page called "PROBLEMS WITH INSTALL UPDATE OR UNINSTALL?
