Impulse
Instead of rotating the entire image, is there any way to rotate a selected item?
Crazy Man Dan
Right-Click with the Move Selected Pixels tool () and drag around to rotate the current selection. You can also hold [shift] to lock the rotation to 15 degree increments. Remember to check the status bar at the bottom of the window. When you select a tool, the left status bar text changes to indicate the commands that tool uses. Impulse
I did what you said, but I wanted to be able to rotate horizontally, vertically, and degree wise. :?:
Crazy Man Dan
Alrighty, then you may be looking for the Rotate / Zoom... function. You can find it in the Layers menu at the top or by pressing [Ctrl]+[shift]+[Z]. This will let you rotate and pivot the layer as if it were on a 3D plane. Click the orb on the left and drag it around to pivot the canvas. Click and drag the bar in the ring around the orb to rotate. Mr Frojo
Do you mean flip it horizontally and vertically? I think you will need to put it on a new layer for that. Quote I'm still alive!
usedHONDA
Because I'm all about perfection, I've stopped using the classic right-click approach and started doing the following: Create the selection Cut it Paste it into a new layer On that layer, go to Layers > Flip/Rotate and adjust to whatever. Merge the layer down This way, the antialiasing (and overall quality) is much better.
