georgec
Hi: I just downloaded Paint- fabulous job! Just wondering, I got a warning from Zonealarm regarding Paint wanting to access the Trusted Zone/ Internet. Is this normal and should I allow it or is there any harm in choosing no instead? Thanks, George
Bob
Yes, it's normal, PdN try to access to Internet for checking if updates are availables. It's not harmful. Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. And... *poof!*—just like that—he disappears into the mist again. ~Helio
Rick Brewster
Yes, that's normal. If you would like to disable the update checking, just click on the menu item, "File -> Updates -> Automatically check periodically". georgec
Thanks for the info. Once again, thanks for putting out such an amazing program and making it accessible, both for the financially challenged and graphically challenged. Programs like Photoshop and PSP are just starting to realize how utterly confusing and bloated their programs have gotten.
