Font Outline Suggestion

Recommended Posts

I have worked with Adobe Illustrator and I've used the fonts and I've noticed that you can put in a stroke (like and outline) for the fonts. You can pick the color for the outline and you can adjust how think the stroke/outline is. Will it be possible to add that feature to Paint.net?

Condenced version:

1. Type font

2. Duplicate layer

3. Select bottom layer

4. Outline effect

5. Curves

6. Feather

7. Flatten

Does it really take all that work just to do that though. There should be a faster, easier way.

It takes about 2 mins, that isn't bad.

EDIT:

You can also:

1.Drop Shadow Plugin, X and Y offset to 0, blur radius 1

2.Press Ctr+F until you are satisfied.

Thanks. I'll try that out. I tried to download the feather plug-in, but my CPU won't let me due to the dll extension.
