chaosAD
First, I'd like to say hi and I'm enjoying the latest version of Paint.net Secondly, I'm still not sure how to make the edges of an image transparent. everytime I save the image I always get a white\Black background where the transparency should be. Could someone plz exlpain how to save the image the way you intend it to be.
Myrddin
I assume then that you're saving the image as a JPG? Instead, save your work as a PNG as this will keep your transparent bits. In the File > Save As dialogue box, drop down the 'Save as type' menu and select PNG (*.png). toe_head2001
You could also use the jpeg2000 format, which supports transparency. You'll need the plugin: http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewt ... t=jpeg2000 Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
Myrddin
PNG is much better though as you don't lose as much quality as you do with JPEG 2000. It's what I've heard anyway even with JPEG2000's lossless format Quote How to Save Your Images under Different File Types My dA Gallery
