agibaer
Hi!I haven't updated paint.net in a while. Now in the new version, if I use the fill tool (bucket), fill an area and then pick a different color, the filled area changes to that color. So every time I want to fill different areas with different colors, I have to select an other tool, change color, select the bucket, fill, change tool, change color, select bucket etc. Otherwise the filled areas always change to the newly selected color. Is there a way to change/avoid that?Thank you!
racerx
Hit the "Enter" key after you apply the bucket tool, or click Finnish. This is actually a feature I like very much, as you can change the colors to get the most desired result before you commit.

Pratyush
Hi Agibaer, In paint.net 4.0 things are strange, selection of area happens before selecting color. In MS paint or PDN 3.5 things happen like this. Select 1st color --> click first area --> select 2nd color --> click 2nd area --> repeat. In PDN 4.0 process is like this. Click 1st area--> Select 1st color --> click second area --> Select 2nd color-->Repeat.--> Click Finish(Press Enter).
david.atwell
In paint.net 4.0 things are strange, You mean "different." I say "better." Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
