midora
The plugin has a strange issue. Maybe someone has an idea how to solve it. (This is on win8.1 64bit). - open paint.net - open two images - open spirit level effect - Activate the window of another application - Try to activate paint.net by clicking one of the two image previews in the taskbar. It does not work, Paint.Net will not activate. If you click the close box in the preview then Paint.NET activates but not the plugin dialog. The spirit level dialog (derived from EffectConfigDialog) is quite standard.
midora
I would qualify this as a paint.net bug in the meantime. Somehow the association between the dialog window and the document is not final. You can even activate an other document while the dialog is open by clicking the thumbnail of this document in the taskbar. And this should never be possible. It also has problems assigning the history entry to the right document in this case. If you activate the deactivated dialog once by mouse click then everything is fine. midora
I could break down the issue to a minimal effect dll. The problem will exist if MinimumSize of the dialog is set in the EffectConfigDialog constructor. Somehow this setting confuses Paint.NET. Moving the setting of MinimumSize to OnLoad solves the problem.
midora
Would 'Spreader' be the right name for the tool we talked about earlier? Or 'Lifter' ?
ReMake
Maybe 'tilt-shift' or 'anti-distortion' Edited May 18, 2015 by ReMake
midora
Maybe 'tilt-shift' or 'anti-distortion' You may be right in proposing a term used in photography and not in construction. So maybe 'Shift-Lens' would be ok as a name of the tool (Shift-Objektiv in german).
