douglasgblake
We have some applications that dump images into .emf (enhanced metafile) format files. Bog standard Windows Paint can open them but not Paint.Net. Any chance this file format will be supported in the future. I much prefer Paint.Net. Rick Brewster
I don't have any plans to add support for this. Probably wouldn't be difficult to write a plugin for it though. I think it's a standard GDI+ file format so the code would be super easy. midora
I will implement a filetype because I had to fight with this metafile stuff for the the richt text plugin already. As Rick said this is not too complex. But there are two issues. First there is no managed code to save metafiles. Second a load dialog has to be added which allows to adjust the resolution of the vector graphic. This means - because Paint.NET open filetype api does not support a dialog - that a workaround has to be implemented.
