NeoDataType
I installed the PDN 2.5 b3, but it does not work to me... I'm using win XP Pro SP2 (with classic appearence, in win2000 style). When I launch PDN it takes minutes to start and my monitor (1024*768*16bit) continue to "blink" as it was trying to change the resolution. All the system become inusable until I close PDN via Task Manager What's happening? Last releases all worked fine...
Rick Brewster
Two questions for you, if you would: 1. Was PaintDotNet.exe listed in Task Manager as consuming all of your CPU time? 2. What locale is your system set to? If you go to the Control Panel and then to "Regional Options" you will see a drop down box that lets you set "Your region (locale)". For example, mine is set to "English (United States)". If 1 and 2 are true then I think I know where the problem is occuring in our code. Thanks. Actually I'm on another PC, but if the problem is that you overwrote something, I hope you can tell me something because I cannot use my PC any longer... it periodically draws "broken" windows and still continue to turn on and off the video... I don't know if this is due to PDN, but the timing of the events is incredible. My regional settings should be Italian.
Rick Brewster
Do things revert to normal if you uninstall Paint.NET? Rick Brewster
Doesn't sound like it's Paint.NET's fault. We do not overwrite any files, we only copy things to our installation directory. Sorry I can't help.
