Recommended Posts

first off, I have been using Paint.Net for a long time with no problems at all, I use it just about everyday to do projects, but to day after using paint it gave the option to download a update, and after that, It would not open paint and it kept saying this.

I've also tried repairing it and uninstall/install it several times, then when that did not work I googled the problem and found nothing, so i came here. Can I please get some help with this problem.

If you run PdnRepair.exe from the installation directory (probably in c:\program files\paint.net), that should fix this.

In 4.0.1 this will be detected and it'll run PdnRepair automatically.

We don't remove solved posts here.  Someone else with the same issue may come along and be helped by your issue.

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
