Thorsby
I have a problem with version 4.0 that was not in the previous version. When I click on a new layer the new layer is transparent. The Value of this transparent color is 100. If I have a layer that is completely white and I delete all the white, the layer becomes transparent. The Value of this transparent color is 0. So say I have two transparent layers A and B. A has Value 0 and B has Value 100. I draw a man in layer A. I use Rectangle select to make a rectangle around the man. I cut him out of layer A and paste him into layer B. Now I decide I want to color layer B green, except for the man. I use the paint bucket to color layer B. Layer B turns green, except for a rectangle around the man, which remain transparent. The previous version of paint did not react this way. I believe it treated both kinds of transparent as the same? I believe it is a bug.
