oldfishinghat
Hi, I recently purchased a mac and (as you may know) paint.net isn't compatible. I have illustrator as my replacement. I mainly used paint.net to design clothing (graphics) and edit pictures. Anyways, what Im trying to get at it can someone give me a comparison with the two programs; or better yet, some pointers on transitioning to illustrator from paint.net? Are the functions similar? any tricks or ideas to help me understand it better? I'm pretty knowledgable on the functions of paint.net so yeah thanks in advance Edited December 20, 2013 by oldfishinghat
david.atwell
Illustrator is a completely different type of program. It's a vector image editor; Paint.NET is a raster image editor. The two aren't really compatible. The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
