How remove white border

When I remove the background of an image theres always this white border thats on it. Ive filled background in another colour and cropped the image but the white border is always there. How do i remove this?

First off, you should try to post examples of your problem. It's always better for the forum to actually see the issue. If you need help with posting images let us know.

Use the AA's_Assistant plugin found in dpy's plugin pack before you fill the background in with the new color

Heres an example of the problem. Im not sure if youll be able to see it but i have a white border around the background colour. I dont actually want a background fill id prefer transparent but ive posted this as an example of the problem.

I'm not seeing a white border, sorry. I even copied it into paint.net and zoomed in just to make sure. The only white around the border I see is the little white pixels at the top two corners which you can simply remove with the eraser tool. And the darker ones at the bottom corners too.
