Roger
I'm loving Paint.NET so far, but there's something I inexplicably can't figure out... Back in the old MS Paint, you could pick a background colour to be transparent and turn off the Draw Opaque option. Is there something similar in Paint.NET? A probably-related question: how do I set the transparent colour for a GIF (or other file format that supports it)? I tried searching these forums but all I could find was a lot on layer transparency, which is very cool, but not really what I want (I don't think.) Thanks, Roger

Thanks, Roger By the way, this is done sort of automatically. If you've got a .gif that you want to "transparentize", using the Magic Wand tool + Delete works fine. Then save back into gif... Et voila. Or maybe I'm totally mistaken and you meant something completely different... Regards, Skro Quote ZoC radio, Chaos is on the air
Roger
That works perfectly! Exactly what I was trying to achieve. Merci beaucoup. Cheers, Roger
usedHONDA
Green screen? How about magic wand? **HINT** Hold shift while clicking to select all of the came color area. Oh well. Problem already solved.
