Onion
I would request a tutorial, with pictures, on how to create a Windows 7 Start orb. If you already know of one (with pictures) please link it to me. pdnnoob
There are a lot of shiny orb tutorials on the forum. Do a search for "shiny glass orb" or something... EDIT: I did a search and here's the ones I would recommend looking at for ideas: Edited September 28, 2012 by pdnnoob Quote No, Paint.NET is not spyware...but, installing it is an IQ test. ~BoltBait Blend modes are like the filling in your sandwich. EDIT: I did a search and here's the ones I would recommend looking at for ideas: http://forums.getpai...age__hl__glossy http://forums.getpai...page__hl__shiny http://forums.getpai...__fromsearch__1 Actually, I already know how to make orbs and glass balls. My question is, if I could get a tut on making a 'windows 7' start button. It takes a specific image size, and i dont know how to install it (otherwise i would have been goofing around and figured out how to do it myself) All the tuts I've found are picture less (with very little detail) or videos (my internet is too slow to watch videos). I just need an explanation on how to do so. Plus, seeing such tut would inspire many other people to do so, who without seeing said tut would never have know you could even change the start button in windows. pdnnoob
Like this? This is not a paint.net question, and thus should not be on this forum (). There are forums dedicated to that kind of help, and this is not one of them. @Mods/admins: maybe you should put that in the forum rules instead of hiding it in the off topic section? Sorry for the inconvenience. But, I've been told that you can do it with Paint.net. And I didn't feel like making an account to a forum I may visit only once. jim100361
Not a problem. Maybe the person with whom you spoke with that referred you here did not fully understand what you desired (how to install/replace the orb in your OS). That's not a function of the software or the forums. Creating the orb itself however can be accomplished by the techniques learned through those tutorials via the links provided earlier. But don't despair, there are other things through the tutorial section(s) that may yet be useful to you for other things as well (just so you don't feel installing the program was a waste of your time). Meander about and see if anything grabs you.
