Kinetical
Hello everybody I am new to paint and it's a fantastic little piece of software. I have a photograph which I wish to use as a background in a Powerpoint presentation. Regular text will sit on top of the picture. In order for the text to be seen, I want to make the picture quite faint. How can I do this using Paint.NET?
mountnman
there are a couple of ways- i would think the simplest would be to create 3 layers, a background layer, the picture layer, and the text layer- make the background layer whatever colour you need, on your picture layer double click the layer in the layer window and use the opacity slider to make the picture semi-transparent, this will allow a solid background to appear thru the picture, then your text on the top layer and your done Quote SARCASM- Just one of the many services I offer free to the public.
