How do I save an edited photograph

Have removed a shadow from a photograph using the clone tool. How do i save the edited photo to my album.

File > Save As...

Save with a changed name, choose your preferred

file type from the dropdown, if prompted OK flattening.

If you want to preserve the layered file for additional editing later, save as PDN filetype first.

Then save again with a different name and filetype.

for a quality picture you can share- use the PNG format- its lossless-

from what the more knowledgable gurus here have said JPEG format throws away the detail that it doesnt think the human eye can see, resulting in poorer picture quality
