jeromepro
Hi, I read that I need Windows XP SP3 to run Paint.Net 3.5.5 on my computer. Does it mean there is a problem if I run it on Windows XP SP2 or just it's better to run it on SP3 ? Thanks for your answer, Jérôme
pyrochild
It won't run on SP2; you need to update your computer. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!
Rick Brewster
SP3 is a free update, and has been out for over 2 years. Please, install it. Better yet, I also highly recommend planning an upgrade to Windows 7 when you can (honest, it's good stuff). Paint.NET will simply not run on SP2. It won't install, nor will the app run if you copy it from another computer or something. It will give you an error in either case.
