Gordan Freeman
I deleted all the background on an image. Then I saved it. Now every time I open it, the checkered pixels is all white. So when I try to make layers with the photo in the front, the white background of the photo gets in the way. How to replace all the white with the checkered pixels without having to delete all the white again?

Gordan Freeman
Hmm. I still have all the white. Are you saying delete all the white, then save as png?

az2000
Hmm. I still have all the white. Are you saying delete all the white, then save as png? It's a good idea to get in the habit of putting your image on at least one layer above the background layer, and saving your original work in PDN's native file format. Use "save as" to save to other formats like .png. That way, if you need to go back and make changes, you won't have the situation you just found yourself in.
