pyrochild
I went to start Paint.NET, and got this: As you can see, PdnRepair.exe is where it should be. Running it manually fixed the problem. It may be relevant that these Windows updates were installed since the last time I started Paint.NET: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976422 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975496 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/980408 Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it! Rick Brewster
Are you still using those shortcuts that change around the directory that Paint.NET is running from? (or whatever it was -- I forget exactly) You can also use Process Explorer to spy on the current directory for the PaintDotNet.exe process when that error occurs.
