mcamp14 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 As an astronomer, I use the histogram a lot. Normally I have had to look at the levels adjustment just to see the histogram while I am in PDN. The problem is that doing that can become time consuming, especially if you are not changing the levels directly. Is there anyway that I can view a live histogram as a separate window on PDN? pyrochild Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Not a live one, no. But my Curves+ plugin does have a bigger histogram than Levels. Quote ambigram signature by Kemaru [i write plugins and stuff] If you like a post, upvote it!

Like in Photoshop, there is a live histogram. I have not thought of using Curves+ as a histogram viewer. Thanks! pyrochild Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Live as in constantly updates to reflect the image as you edit it, yes. Curves+'s histogram is live with respect to changes made with the plugin, but Paint.NET doesn't allow any scope greater than that.
