edhalsim
Pardon me if this is a dumb question. I wanted to see if there's a way to merge or flatten layers so that all pixels from both layers are in one. This is a feature in other programs such as Adobe ImageReady (which I don't have). If that feature doesn't currently exist, is there a way to copy part of an image and then paste it in the current drawing, but have the blank pixels be transparent so that they don't overwrite the "underlying" pixels? Very cool program. Thanks. - Ed.

trickman
Go to Image > Flatten. That flattens all the image, though. In 3.0 a flatten selected layers will be inplemented, I think.
