jtrosper Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I have a dumb question. When you've added some text to an image, and you move on to another tool, is there any way to go back and select that text entry so that it can be edited? When I try to just click on it with the text tool, it just adds another new text entry. Thanks! Quote
barbieq25 Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 Do you mean if you type a word & then discover a spelling error & you want to fix it? If the text is on a layer of its own you can delete that layer & re-do the text or you can select the section of text to be edited & delete it but I haven't found a way of fixing like you can in a word processor. BTW - not a dumb question at all. One of the four secrets to learning is asking questions. Good luck with your image! Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry. April Jones, 2012 Gallery My DA Gallery
david.atwell Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 There isn't a way to re-edit text that's already been placed. Once you click away, it's there forever. So I recommend placing it on a different layer, as barbieq25 said. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
