How do i remove all transparency, but keep ...

Recommended Posts

Hmmm, how did you both come to think...? Perhaps i can say more.

If we're given one layer with an image on it...

And this image has some pixels that are semi-transparent, some pixels that are 0% transparent, and some pixels that are 100% transparent.

How do i decrease the semi-transparent pixels to 0% transparent pixels?

I want to have visually the same image.

I do not want to increase the number of 100% transparent pixels in the layer's image.

I just want to change semi-transparent pixel values to 0% transparent.

If this can be done what is the easiest or quickest way to do it?

Thanks in advance. =)

Duplicate that layer, use one of the silhouette plugins (or Dropshadow with the right settings), set the magic wand to 0% tolerance, Ctrl + click on a completely opaque part of the picture, delete the new single coloured layer, Crtl + I and the delete.

Sorry if I wasn't detailed enough, just ask if you need more clarification.
