No version of Paint.NET will work

Recommended Posts

What are your system stats? Do you have the latest version of the .NET framework?

The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.
Amy: But how did it end up in there?
The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.
River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.

Just answer the question, or this thread gets locked.

When you go to the doctor, do your conversations go like this?

YOU: Doctor, I have a pain.

DOC: What kind of pain? Where?

YOU: Ugh! You mean you can't just answer my question?

DOC: No, I need to know exactly what's going on to make an accurate diagnosis.

YOU: Fine. My stomach hurts.

DOC: Does it hurt here?

YOU: No, it doesn't hurt now!

DOC: When does it hurt?

YOU: Do you really need to know?

DOC: Yes, I really need to know.

YOU: Okay, it hurts when I have dinner.

DOC: What's your diet like?

YOU: Oh, you don't need to know that. It was fine before.

See how ludicrous that is? You're asking us for help, but you're not giving us information.

When I try to open or save a file, Paint.NET crashes. I even tried 3.5, and it didn't work. Should I just try to use a different program, or is there a way to fix this?
Instead of closing it, try pressing the Esc key. Does it come back?

Well?

That probably means that there's some file in that directory that is giving Paint.NET fits.

You can try deleting all files in that default directory to see if it fixes the problem. Even hidden files.

BTW, if you press ENTER instead of ESC, it will save the file. But, you'll have to find it and rename it later.
