Multiple Image Capture

Recommended Posts

I used Paint Shop Pro back a few years ago and I remember a feature that I really loved - Multiple Image Capture. You could bind a key (or use print screen) and capture multiple images while the mode was turned on or while the program was running and then save the images after you finished capturing.

Is there any way this could be added in a plugin or program feature in a future release? I would love it if it was possible =D

Yeah i know its not but I would think with the way it allows for multiple images to be placed on the top right hand corner before being saved that a plugin could be made easily to support a multiple image capture session

I'll take a look at that software, if it does indeed work with paint.net to do that then perhaps thats all thats needed. I would have rather had it done in a piece of software that I already have then having to download another one is all :P

edit: I tried the program and it only takes one image at a time, and its not fullscreen. I have to click on the windows as i want to take screenshots and then reopen the program.

What I want to do is be able to take multiple images (fullscreen) either in a game or on my desktop and then after go through them (weather it be 2 or 30+ images) and choose which ones I want to save/edit etc.

The multiple screen capture utility within Paint Shop Pro is very useful and easy to use. I especially like the possibility to turn the capture of the cursor on/off. I do not, however, view PSP as a simple screen capture application. Once I have captured a series of images I then rework them directly within PSP before saving them. Surely multiple screen captures would be a useful feature within Paint.NET. Screen captures must represent a fair proportion of image sources. In the meantime I'll try Greenshot.

If you go to the Selection tab you can set it to instead let you draw a rectangle. Note that rather than prompting you to save later, it instead (by default) saves them to a folder.
