pophiri Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 To all those who wrote and updated, or created tutorials and plugins for Paintdotnet, a big heartfelt thanks. I am very new to paintdotnet, and prior to this have always hated paint programs like photoshop and photopaint. I have used them when I had to, but only as a last resort or for improving contrast and removing colour casts from photos. I am a vector drawer through and through. Paintotnet is coverting me. It has a simple and effective interface. It has a limited number of tools so it doesn't overwhelm the noob. Your creativity is really only limited by your imagination. I see lots of requests asking for it to do the things photoshop can do. Please don't turn this lovely program into a photoshop wannabe. Its charm lies in its ease of use. Thanks again, I love the program, put simply IT IS FUN! (ps I will have to create a signature now I know how) Quote

Its charm lies in its ease of use. If you don't want any of the tools, or effects that photoshop has you don't have to. This is why you have to manually install these plug-ins yourself. As paint.net can be a basic paint alternative, or a complex photoshop alternative. Quote
david.atwell Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 Rest assured, that's always been Rick's plan, from everything I've heard. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
