Rotoscoping help

I searched and searched but nothing really for what I am looking for on the forums. The selective pallet plug-ins are cool and all, but don't really do what I want. The effect I am looking to accomplish is just like the Queens of the Stone Age video "Go With the Flow." I managed to do it once with one picture (using the halftone plug in) but I seem to have a hard time with other pictures due to the halftone plug's trait of leaving "scars" on the picture. I want to make them smoother than what the halftone and selective color pallet can offer.

Please keep in mind that this is a family-friendly forum. Don't post anything that you wouldn't want your grandmother to see you with. :wink:

And as for your question, you can get a softer, less jagged look by, after doing whatever you did to achieve your current result, running "Median" with a low Radius setting.
