Starlight Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 Hello well i just discovered while trying to merge my layer down it dosn't...hmm how to say merge. I merge then.... Zagna Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 Your Layer 2 gradient is fully opaque. It's a black to white gradient which when you merge down just simply replaces anything below it. You need to make a black to transparent white gradient so when you merge it down, it applies a black gradient on whatever is beneath it. :?: :arrow: :idea: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Myrddin Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 You can do this by expanding the Colors window via the More button, then manipulating the Transparency - Alpha slider at the bottom of the window for the white colour only.
