Ernie J D Posted March 13 Posted March 13 After several times of opening paint.net, either by double-clicking shortcut icon or double-clicking on a supported file type, paint.net does not open when doing either of these. The timing circle shows up for several seconds and then nothing. Restarting the computer restores paint.net's ability to open. This is happening on a computer with Windows 10 pro. Is there something that can be done to prevent this? Thank You Quote
Tactilis Posted March 13 Posted March 13 @Ernie J D when this next occurs, could you open Task Manager and check whether there is a paint.net process still running? Quote
toe_head2001 Posted March 13 Posted March 13 The host CLR processes for paint.net may be crashing. Right after the paint.net crashes, please open the Windows' Event Viewer and look in the Application log. (Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> Application) The items should be sorted by datetime, so the most recent item should be at the top of the list. toe_head2001 Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Also please post the diagnostic information found within paint.net. Settings -> Diagnostics -> Copy to clipboard. Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
