After several uses Paint.net does not open

Recommended Posts

After several times of opening paint.net, either by double-clicking shortcut icon or double-clicking on a supported file type, paint.net does not open when doing either of these.

The timing circle shows up for several seconds and then nothing.

Restarting the computer restores paint.net's ability to open.

This is happening on a computer with Windows 10 pro.

Is there something that can be done to prevent this?

Thank You

The host CLR processes for paint.net may be crashing.

Right after the paint.net crashes, please open the Windows' Event Viewer and look in the Application log. (Event Viewer -> Windows Logs -> Application)

The items should be sorted by datetime, so the most recent item should be at the top of the list.
