Tactilis Posted February 15 Posted February 15 @tybrousseau01 welcome to the forum. You have provided very limited information: Original Title: "Plugin Error" "I have downloaded a plug in pack" - Yes, but which plugin pack? "Tells me that these plug ins do not run on this version of paint.net and need to update/upgrage." - Yes, but what is the exact message? Do you see 'Plugin errors' at the top of the Effects menu? If so, click it and it will take you to the Plugin Errors page of Settings. - What plugin .dll does it say is in error? - And what is the error text? (Click in the text, press Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C to copy it, then paste it here) Quote
toe_head2001 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 The latest version of the Plugin Browser plugin can be found here: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/110458-the-plugin-browser/ 1 Quote My Gallery | My Plugin Pack Layman's Guide to CodeLab
tybrousseau01 Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 So went back and took a closer look. Newbie here. Not all were denied. At least the one that I really wanted (Alpha cutter, because it is like the digitizing software for my embroidery machines) went through! I am good. Thanks for your help 1 Quote
Tactilis Posted February 16 Posted February 16 @tybrousseau01 If you are not planning on installing the latest version of the Plugin Browser, then you should delete PluginData.dll from your Effects folder to remove the out of date version. You won't get the plugin error then. Quote
