KeyLogic
Hi. I don't know why I can't figure this out, but what I'm trying to do is render a Clouds effect where it's completely opaque at the bottom and then fade into transparency as it goes toward the top, kinda like the Gradient effect. Can anyone explain how to do this? Thanks. Quote KeyLogic's Art Gallery My deviantART Profile
david.atwell
You'll just want the Gradient effect. :-) If you render a clouds layer, then choose the Gradient tool and set the mode to Transparency (click this :AllColorChannels: , and it will become this :AlphaChannel: ), you'll be able to drag a transparency gradient across the clouds. :-) Alternatively, look for my "Shrinking a City" tutorial to see how you could use the Alpha Mask in the same way. It generates a slightly different result, and one you might be able to play with a bit better. :-) Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior...
