ufpst
If I have an image, let's say it is 100 x 100 pixels. How can I add whitespace above the image by say 50 pixels to make it 100 x 150. I just would like to know how to add whitespace above an existing image. I'm hoping in doing this, that I'll be maintaining my DPI.

ufpst
That's brilliant, exactly what I needed. Every time I tired to duplicate into a new image I lost resolution. This has now solved that for me. I'd actually never used the canvas size menu option before, so good to read up on how it works too!

Do keep reading the fine documentation. You are sure to discover many more paint.net features that you are presently unaware of.
