When I finsihed an image, the offered file type is always .png. Since I want to save as .jpg, I ALWAYS have to amend the file type. Isn't is possible, to change the file type to the default of ".jpg" anywhere in the program?

1. Press Ctrl + S     (to start the Save)
2. Type a name for the file

3. Press Tab    (to move to the Save as type field)

4. Press J        (to select JPG)

5. Press Enter  (to select Save)

6. Press Enter  (to select OK)

So to choose .jpg it's just TWO key additional presses, i.e steps 3 and 4.

It really is no big deal if you use the keyboard instead of the mouse.
