Scooter
Wanted to download G’MIC. Note. I have not yet switched to paint.net Version 5 (not sure my system can handle it-yet) 1. Am currently still using paint.net Version 4.3.12 (Stable 4.312.8267.29064). 2. Went to G’MIC.eu. downloaded G’MIC Effect v3.1.6.1 (Gmic_win64.zip for X64 versions of windows 10). Not the 3.1.6.4 for the new paint.net Ver 5 release 3. Went to my download file see #1 on illustration. 4. Found “Readme” see # 2 on illustration. 5. Did as instructed. Placed Gmic.dll and Gmic folder into paint.net Effects folder. 6. After restarting pint.net looked at “Effects-advanced. see # 3 on illustration. 7. No Joy, No EMIC. see # 4 on illustration. 8. I did remove and reinstall GMIC twice in hopes my technique had been faulty. Is there a suggestion as to what would allow my being able to download the GMIC file? Scooter Age is only a number --in my case a Really BIG number, but there you have it When the prefect paint.net image is created, I will still be wondering "How they Do that?"- sigh☺️
Rick Brewster
@Scooter, I'm sorry but the rules are the rules -- there is no support for older versions. Doesn't matter if you've been on the forum for awhile or not. Install PDN 5 and the G'MIC plugin for 5.0+ and go from there. That is the solution.
