paintnetnoob400
Im trying to create a brush line like on the far left. If i set the default brush to two it almost like it but not quite, is there something im missing? Would love to recreate the line on the left perfectly. Thank you and apologies. midora
You may enter a value between 1 and 2 in the text box but I doubt that you can recreate the line perfectly.
Rick Brewster
PDN 4.3 will round the value to an integer anyway. PDN 5 will not, so you can try 1.1 or 1.05 or whatever gets you there. The alpha is available over in the Preview Section of the forum. midora
Entering 1, 1.5, or 2 produces different results in 4.3.12 here, drawing a line. Maybe it has just effect to anti-aliasing but it has an effect to how wide a line looks.
Rick Brewster
They will likely look different if you are not at 100% zoom because the brush tool supports sub-pixel coordinates. So you have to do the comparison at 100% zoom level. Rick Brewster
Sure, when drawing a line with Line/Curve. But the first post is talking about the Paintbrush tool. @paintnetnoob400, you might try tinkering with the Hardness setting in the toolbar. That can be used to soften up the edges of a brush stroke.
